We are celebrating!

‘Free’, the second single from our’s debut album, has won Prog Magazine’s online poll for Tracks of the Week 24/5. Over a seven-day period, Free received almost 30% of the vote, placing it almost ten percentage points ahead of its nearest rival in the 8-song competition.

Announcing the results, Prog magazine editor Jerry Ewing stated, “A massive well done to UK prog duo Storm Deva, who “stormed” (sorry, we just couldn’t resist!) to the front of last week’s TOTW with Free, holding off strong competition from both Tim Bowness and Al Di Meloa. A splendid result for grass roots progressive music!”

Needless to say we are absolutely thrilled by this. So many good things have happened since we released our album. You have made us feel so very welcome and shown such enthusiasm for our music. We can’t thank everyone enough for voting for us.

In his introduction to the on-line poll, the week before, Prog editor Jerry Ewing had noted, “UK prog duo Storm Deva have made quite a splash since the release of their self-titled debut album last year…”

And we want to make more of a splash with your help. To celebrate our win we would like to give more people the chance to own the full album, so we have created a half price discount code for use on Bandcamp. The code can be redeemed against either the digital or physical album, meaning that buyers can nab one of the remaining limited edition signed and numbered CDs for £6, or they can purchase the full nine-track album digitally for just £3.50.

The money we raise will help us put together the full band for our gig in the Progzilla Presents slot at the Summer’s End Festival in October.

The discount code is “progwin50” and should be entered into the discount code box on the purchase window. But hurry, the code will expire at 11:59pm on 9 June. Buy now at stormdeva.bandcamp.com

Please also share this post, or just the discount code and Bandcamp link with your own social media followers. Thank you again to all who voted, we literally couldn’t do it without you, and a very big welcome to all those who are just discovering us.
